Exploration map prototype

I'm thinking of making a game based on CRPGs and turn-based battle systems and figured the exploration side would be good to start with so I can model moving around, traversing the environment, avoiding enemies as much as fighting them, completing quests, and skills beyond things that make damage numbers different.
